- Demerit entry A demerit entry is a driving licence register record for an offence covered by section 30a FSG. It does not automatically withdraw the driving entitlement.
- Driver disclosure A driver disclosure is a request under section 103(2) KFG asking who drove or last parked a specified vehicle at a specified time.
- Driving entitlement A driving entitlement is the authority-granted right to drive vehicles of a specified class. It is distinct from the physical driving licence used as evidence.

- Registered keeper The registered keeper is the person in whose name a vehicle is registered for road use. Registration does not prove who drove during a particular event.
- Remedial training Remedial training is a statutory accompanying measure ordered by the authority in cases covered by the FSG. It is not a penalty.
